Our Story

Who we are:

High Hopes Auxiliary is a nonprofit organization of caring volunteers serving the Lindner Center of HOPE. High Hopes was founded in 2008 to raise funds, awareness, and provide support for the Lindner Center of HOPE.  Through the hard work of its volunteers and the generosity of the community, High Hopes has raised over $1,200,000 for the Center.  High Hopes also strives to fight the stigma of mental illness through community education.

How we began:

High Hopes Auxiliary was founded in 2008 by Frances Lindner and Nancy Nyhart with the support of their friends Emme Bade, Kathy Bechtold, Susan Muth, Terry Quin,  Pat Ryan and Susan Walker.  They envisioned a women’s auxiliary that would support the newly established Lindner Center of HOPE through fundraising and mental health awareness.
